Product Overview
The BZW-50-24VDC is the largest brass solenoid valve available in this series. It is a two way, semi direct lift valve designed to operate normally closed and provide dependable shutoff in high flow applications.
This valve performs well with hot water, air, Freon, weak acids, and weak alkalis. The solid brass body is built for strength and long service life.

It handles low viscosity fluids under 20 cSt and requires minimal pressure to operate due to its semi direct lift construction. Maximum operating pressure is 90 PSI. The temperature range is 15°F to 250°F. A Viton seal is used to support elevated temperatures and mild chemical exposure.
This model is equipped with a 24 Volt DC coil with ±10 percent voltage tolerance. It includes a 5 inch wire lead for field wiring. The coil activates in less than one second for quick flow control.
The BZW-50-24VDC is commonly installed in irrigation systems, solar heating systems, hydroponics, HVAC applications, and plumbing systems requiring a full 2 inch valve.
It may be mounted in any position. A directional arrow on the body indicates proper flow direction. This valve does not stop reverse flow.
