Easily Access CAD Files
Electricsolenoidvalves.com offers our customers access to 3D CAD drawings of our core products to make it quick and easy to find the valve you need and digitally plug it into your system.
We know how important time-management is to our customers and wanted to create a system that makes the process of finding a valve and adding it to your design more efficient. Prior to our new self-service CAD database, customers would contact our support team to request neutral format drawing files, which are not specific to their preferred software. That was a time consuming process that we realized could bottleneck some engineers’ work and customer’s were not able to take advantage of all of the features their software offered. Now the entire process is streamlined to be instantly available to you 24 hours a day for all of our most popular valves.
We also know file compatibility is extremely important. With such a variety of CAD softwares available, we have made an investment in the creation of these CAD files in over 100 formats to work with different engineering programs and operations. These files include common Native Formats, for specific CAD softwares, such as AutoCAD, CATIA V5, Creo, NX, Pro, Inventor, MicroStation, SolidWorks and Solid Edge, as well as all of the most common Neutral Formats, for easy file exchange, including STEP, STL, IGES, 3D PDF, Parasolid, VRML, COLLADA, and DXF. We believe that by making so many file types available customers will be able to get the most out of the files on the specific software they are using.
All CAD drawings generated match the dimensions of our solenoid valves. All of the necessary metadata is embedded into the CAD drawings, which means once you send the file to your purchaser, they can quickly find the right part number with a link back to the product in our online catalog, enabling you to fit them into your system and continue planning the rest of your design. They also come with an interactive tool that provides a full 360 degree view of each product and the ability to view cross sections of the valves and technical data sheets.
To use the database:
You can narrow down your valve selection in the options above until you find the specific valve type that you need. This will bring you to a 3D rendering of the selected valve along with all of the product specifications.
Once you’ve found the right valve for your project, click the banner above the image that says “Generate CAD” to create and download the file type needed for your programs.
Once your design is finalized, your purchaser can easily pull the purchase information from the valve metadata, which will have the matching product number and a link back to the product page on Electricsolenoidvalves.com.
