3/4" Valves

3/4" Normally Open Plastic Solenoid Valves

Reliable and Efficient Flow Control for Various Applications

Our 3/4" normally open plastic solenoid valves provide a dependable solution for fluid control in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Designed to remain open until powered, these valves ensure continuous flow, making them ideal for applications that require default open operation.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Durable Body: High-strength plastic offers superior mechanical stability, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it safe for potable water and food-grade applications.
  • Fast Response Time: Opens and closes in under one second for precise and efficient fluid control.
  • Multiple Voltage Options: Available in 12V DC, 24V DC, 24V AC, and 110V AC.
  • Continuous Duty Cycle: Rated for 100% continuous operation, making it ideal for automated systems that require reliable, long-term functionality.

Choosing the Right 3/4" N/O Plastic Solenoid Valve

To ensure compatibility with your system, consider the following factors when selecting a valve:

  • Flow Rate & Pressure: Check the valve’s flow capacity (given by a Cv value and GPM rating) and ensure its pressure range meets your system’s requirements. For example, if your system runs at 60 PSI, verify the valve is rated above that.
  • Material Compatibility: Ensure the valve’s body and seal materials are suitable for the fluid and temperature. If you’re controlling chemicals or hot water (warm water up to about 60°C), verify that the chosen plastic and seal can withstand those conditions without degrading.
  • Normally Open vs. Normally Closed: Double-check that a normally open valve is the correct choice for your needs. A normally open valve is preferred when you want flow by default (fail-safe open). If your application actually requires the valve to default closed (only allowing flow when energized), you should use a 3/4" normally closed plastic solenoid valve instead.
  • Coil Voltage & Duty Cycle: Match the valve’s coil to your power supply and usage. These valves come with coils for various voltages (like 12V DC, 24V DC, 24V AC, 110-120V AC, etc.). Choose a voltage that you have available, and consider the coil’s duty cycle.
  • Connection & Size Requirements: All valves in this category have a 3/4" port, but consider the thread type (most are 3/4" NPT for North America, or BSP in some cases). Ensure this matches your pipe standard or use appropriate adapters. Also, check the valve’s form factor (dimensions and connector type) to be sure it fits in your system’s space.
