This 1” Stainless Steel Electrically actuated ball valve has a compact body with 1” NPT ports at either end. The valve will work in either direction making it suitable when bi-directional flow is required. Motorized Ball valves are great options when you need a high flow valve or valve that can remain in the same position for long periods of time. The valves do not require constant power to hold position and only require power while the ball is rotating into the next position. This makes burn out much less common for a longer operating life of the actuator. The slow closing time (5 seconds) eliminates water hammer making it operate much quieter than typical fast closing valves.
The body of this ball valve is made from 304 Stainless Steel. The ball is made from 316 stainless and the sealing materials are EPDM and PTFE. The materials used in this valves construction are NSF61 compliant and suitable for potable water, however, this valve does not carry an NSF61 certification. The actuator or motor is sealed having an IP67 or NEMA 4 rating making it suitable for outdoor applications or wet environments. The housing features an indicator window so you can easily tell the direction of the balls opening.
