This motorized ball valve is a great choice when you need something with a high flow, slow closing time (does not cause water hammer) and low power. The valves do not require power to hold position making any burn out similar to solenoid valves very rare. Another great feature of ball valves is the ability to control flow in both directions. This 3/4" Stainless Steel Electric Ball Valve comes in a 3 Wire configuration. With this type of wiring setup the red/black stay connected to the positive/ground. The Green wire is the control wire that sends a signal to move the actuator. The green wire can be connected by means of a switch, relay or other type of controller.
The valve body is made of a 304 stainless steel. The internal ball is made of 316 stainless steel and the sealing components are EPMD and PTFE. This combination of materials with the lead free body make the valve suitable for potable water applications or those seeking NSF certification.
The actuator on the valve is enclosed and features an indicator window to show the position of the valve. The housing is weather proof and equivalent to a NEMA 4 or IP67 making it safe to use in wet locations like outdoors.
