Product Overview

The BZW-50-12VDC is a two way, semi direct lift valve operates in a normally closed position and is built for high flow control in larger piping systems.

It is compatible with hot water, air, Freon, weak acids, and weak alkalis. The body is constructed from heavy duty solid brass to provide durability in demanding installations.

This valve features:

  • 2 inch female NPT threaded ports

  • 50 mm orifice size

  • Cv value of 48

It is designed for low viscosity fluids under 20 cSt. The semi direct lift design allows operation with little to no minimum pressure. The valve supports pressures up to 90 PSI, with a working temperature range from 15°F to 250°F. A Viton seal is used for improved chemical and temperature resistance.

The BZW-50-12VDC includes a 12 Volt DC coil with a voltage tolerance of ±10 percent. A 5 inch wire lead is attached for convenient hard wiring to your system. The coil label clearly identifies valve specifications. Actuation time is under one second for fast response.

Common applications include irrigation systems, solar heating setups, hydroponics, HVAC systems, plumbing, and other high flow control installations.

This valve can be mounted in any orientation. A flow direction arrow is cast into the body for proper installation. The valve controls flow in one direction and does not prevent reverse flow.

Always confirm chemical compatibility before selecting seal and body materials.

*Consult a chemical compatibility expert for correct seal and valve body material choice.
