Product Overview

The 2” 24 Volt AC Brass solenoid valve is our highest flow normally closed valve in this configuration. This valve is configured with a 2” female NPT input and output ports that can be easily connect with your own fittings. This valve utilizes a Viton diaphragm which makes it compatible with a wide range of chemicals as well as temperatures up to 250°F. This valve is gravity feed capable and requires no pressure to open or close.

This 2” valve requires no pressure to operate. This means it will work well in a gravity fed system. The valves operation range of pressure is from 0 – 145 PSI. The orifice in this valve is 50mm and the Cv value is 45. For example; 0 PSI this valve will flow approximately 45 gallons per minute and at 60 PSI 345 gallons per minute.

This valve requires 40 watts or 1.75 amps from a 24 VAC power source. It can be connected directly by its lead wires. This unit is fitted with an IP54 coil which makes it resistant to water. If installed outside the valve should be covered to prevent the coil from getting wet.

The valves body has molded directional arrows that indicate the direction of flow. The valve will perform best with the coil in the upward position. A prefiliter is recommended in your instillation to keep the orifice free from debris to ensure a tight seal.

*Consult a chemical compatibility expert for correct seal and valve body material choice.
