1-1/2" UPVC Anti-Corrosive Solenoid Valve
Technical Details
Product Overview
The PAC-40 is a 1-1/2" UPVC Solenoid Valve built for high-volume chemical, saltwater, and wastewater systems that require a fully non-metallic valve body and dependable electrically actuated shutoff. It is designed for applications where corrosion resistance, material compatibility, and long-term reliability are critical.
This valve is typically installed in large-scale neutralization processes, chlorine circulation systems, saltwater handling lines, corrosive fluid circulation loops, and tank-to-tank transfer systems where metal valves may suffer from chemical attack, scaling, contamination, or premature failure. Its UPVC construction creates a fully non-metallic wetted path with no metal wetted parts, offering broad resistance to acids, bases, chlorine solutions, saline fluids, and aggressive process chemicals commonly found in industrial and water treatment environments.
The PAC-40 features a pilot-operated, normally closed operating mode. When electrical power is applied, the valve opens to allow flow, then automatically closes when power is removed. This default closed behavior supports safe system operation by limiting unintended discharge during power interruptions.
To support continuous-duty operation, the valve includes a low-power solenoid coil designed to minimize heat buildup and electrical load. A sealed DIN electrical connector and enclosed coil assembly help protect the valve in outdoor, wet, or chemically exposed locations.
With higher flow capacity than smaller PAC models, this 1-1/2" UPVC Solenoid Valve works well in chemical transfer lines, chlorine feed systems, wastewater discharge circuits, saltwater recirculation systems, and high-volume corrosive process loops where both flow capacity, non-metallic construction, and material compatibility matter.
Always confirm chemical compatibility for UPVC and Viton with your specific media before selection.
