Product Overview
This unit is a 3-way Ball valve, with a 3 wire, position changing setup. The valve is fitted with three ½” NPT ports that can be used to divert or control the direction of media. The three wire controller is used to change the direction of flow. The body is constructed of brass, the internal components are stainless and the seal is Viton. The flow is open in a single direction and applying power will turn the ball to switch its flow path.
This ball valve is an excellent option when you’re looking for a 3 way valve with high flow and the response time isn’t important. The valve will take approximately 5 seconds to fully change position. With its 3 way setup it’s ideal for diverting fluids. Since this is a slow closing valve water hammer will never be an issue within the suggested pressure range. The valves housing is rated at IP67 or NEMA 4 making it compatible with outdoor and wet locations.
