Product Overview

The UBP-50 is a 2" Brass Piloted Solenoid Valve with NBR seals. It is designed for very high flow water and utility systems. The valve is UL Recognized. Certification details are available upon request.

This normally closed valve uses a piloted design to manage large flow volumes. It performs reliably when adequate pressure differential is available. Common installations include industrial water systems, large manifolds, and main utility lines.

Operation depends on pilot pressure and a minimum of 4.5 PSI at the inlet. Installations with reduced head or higher elevations must maintain adequate system pressure. This valve should not be used in gravity-driven systems.

The brass body supports non-corrosive media. Stainless steel internal components allow long service life in continuous duty applications. Approved media include water, air, compatible liquids, and light oils.

Each unit includes a mounted solenoid coil with multiple voltage options. A DIN electrical connection supports integration into industrial control equipment.

Why UL Recognition Matters

UL Recognition confirms that the valve’s electrical components have been evaluated against applicable UL safety standards. This reduces the likelihood of electrical instability, premature component failure, and unsafe operating conditions in energized control systems.

Always follow proper installation practices and confirm material compatibility with your fluid, pressure, and temperature requirements.
