Product Overview
The SZW-15-24VDC is a 24 Volt DC, 2 way, Stainless Steel Solenoid Valve with 1/2" inch female NPT ports. This valve utilizes a Viton seal that can be used for liquid, water, gas, air and many other media types. This is a 2 way valve which means the valve will stay closed until power is applied, holding the position until the power state is changed. This valve is capable of handling media temperatures as low as 15°F and as high as 250°F. The valve is fitted with a DC coil that requires DC power to operate. The Semi-Direct Lift style of this valve allows for high flow rates and no minimum pressure is required for the valve to open.
The SZW-15-24VDC stainless steel solenoid valve is fitted with a 28 watt DC coil. This DC coil requires DC power to operate. The coil is fitted with two lead wires that can be connecters with your choice of terminal connectors or directly soldered. The coil is rated for a 100% duty cycle but not indefinitley.
The valve has a 15mm orifice and the flow rate can be calculated using the valves Cv of 4.8.
This is a great general purpose valve that can be used for a variety of different applications where media automation is required.
Installation is easy. Connection – No Polarity, + and – can be interchanged. There is a directional arrow on the body that indicates the direction of flow.
A pre-filter is always recommended to keep the diaphragm free from debris and the valve functioning properly.
