When your system demands more power, the XR22‑A100 High‑Torque Actuator delivers. This heavy‑duty motor is designed specifically for large 1‑1/2" and 2" motorized ball valves that require significant force to overcome high‑pressure seals.
Boasting 10 Nm of torque—five times the power of our standard models—the A100 ensures reliable operation in demanding environments. It features a rugged IP67‑rated enclosure and a built‑in position indicator window, allowing you to visually confirm valve status at a glance.
The internal capacitor provides a fail‑safe auto‑return to the default position (open or closed, depending on configuration), protecting your system during power outages. To ensure proper auto‑return operation, the actuator must remain powered for at least 60 seconds to fully charge the capacitor. With a 12‑second closing time and continuous duty cycle, the XR22‑A100 is built for long service life in heavy‑duty applications.
The XR22 actuator can be controlled in many different ways including wired directly to the power source, with an inline switch or with a smart home feature to remotely control it.
We also offer a 3-Wire version without the auto return function.
