Product Overview
The ¼” Push-to-Connect solenoid valve model RSC-A2-24VAC is one of the most popular valves in our lineup. Having the quick push to connect style fittings makes it easy to quickly connect the solenoid valve to ¼” OD tubing.
The valve has a plastic body with stainless steel internal components including a built in filter screen. The filter screen is important to keep the internal valve body and orifice clean from debris. The bottom legs can be attached from the bottom with machine screws.
This type of valve is unidirectional meaning the flow enters through the inlet port and out the exhaust port. The valve will not operate in both directions. The valve does require a minimum pressure of 3 PSI to operate and will function up to 115 PSI.
The 24 Volt AC coil is fast acting and changes the valves position in under a second. The valve coil requires 6 watts to operate consuming very low power. This is a great project valve as well as perfect for industrial applications when a quick connect 24 VAC valve is required.
